Bobbi Toads - Paintable Shoes and Polish (review)

Hi guys!Today I have a fun and unique "nail" product to share with you from Bobbi Toads!

Bobbi Toads Paintable Sneakers are both eco-friendlier and vegan-friendly. They offer a range of stylish girls vegan sneakers that not only allow girls to remain fashionable, but  also have less of an impact on the environment and its creatures.

Though you can use any nail polish on the sneakers, Bobbi Toads offers a array of colorful lacquers as well!

Bobbi Toads contacted me to come up with some fun designs using there Paintable Shoes and Polishes! I had fun! Not only did I do some "nail art" on the sneakers, but I designed a matching mani for myself, using their polishes!

First, here are the products I chose:

Bobbi Toads sneakers in Hillary, 3 polishes in the colors Cotton Candy, Spring Green and Deep Ocean Mist; along with their Wild Hearts and Flower Power Stickers.

Now unfortunately, I came down with the flu, during my 2nd week with the shoes, so at this time I only have 3 looks to share with you.

For the first look, I used Spring Green as the base on my index and Cotton Candy on the remaining nails. I then did some freehand vine-type flowers using the remaining polishes and topped it with a matte topcoat.

Next I did a gradient using Deep Ocean Mist and Spring Green, I even used my wig gel and painted around the little nails on the shoes for easy cleanup..haha! I used some of the white and yellow Flower Power stickers for an easy look and topped it with a glossy topcoat!

Lastly, I used Cotton Candy as my base, then did freehand stripes using Deep Ocean Mist and Spring Green, topped with a glossy topcoat.

I really liked the polishes! I did notice that they separated after sitting for a few days, but as the instructions stated, I added a drop or two of water and shook them vigoriously. This corrected the issue and the polishes applied just as smooth as any other polish I own! The biggest thing I noticed was how amazingly pigmented all of the polishes were. The Spring Green was a one coater for my nails, while the others needed only two coats.

Such a fun idea for little girls! Even though I don't have a daughter, I could definitely see myself ordering more of the nail polishes themselves because they are great quality and the opaqueness is great for nail art!

Also, in addition to the Paintable Sneakers,  Bobbi-Toads offers a light up version that is so adorable!
