I,A.M...Custom Color - Ashes' Favorites November and December (swatches and review)

**press sample**

It time for more Ashes's Favorites! I love these two new duos so hard! These may be favorite from all the duos this year! As always, I will put Ashlie's notes in italic and my thoughts on each polish will be in regular font.
 Lets get started!

November Duo

Passenger is a gorgeous wolf grey holo with teal shimmer, flakes and UCC flakies. Love so much! Is it grey or is is teal? Definitely grey, but with all that amazing teal shimmer and flakies going on you will certainly get a smokey teal vibe from this one! Great formula needing just two coats plus topcoat!

This Polish is inspired by one of my favorite songs! This is technically a Deftones song with guest Maynard from Tool. Deftones is a band local to my area and so it is cool to be able to pay homage to them. This song is eerie and creepy and I love it to bits and pieces! You can listen to it here-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaXx2ocDo18

David Dances at the Bolshoi! is a black jelly loaded with blue flecks and iridescent flakies. So squishy and has so much depth! I love dark jellies with iridescent flakies in them! This beauty was also just two coats plus topcoat.

This polish was inspired by a gorgeous male ballet dancer, David Hallberg, the first American to join the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Company in Russia. This is a huge testament to his skill and he isn't too bad to look at either! :) You can learn more about him here -davidhallberg.com/

As an addition when you purchase the November Duo, you will also receive I,A.M...Custom Color's Bee's Knees Waxy Matte topcoat! I have long loved IAMCC and was really surprised that I never realized Ashlie had a matte topcoat..lol. I'm sorry I missed out on it for so long, because it is awesome! It gives that perfect waxy matte finish and actually dries pretty darn fast! Here I have one coat over David Dances at the Bolshoi!

December Duo

Whiskey Bar is an amazing metallic gold holo with red and cooper micro flakes and red to cooper UCC flakies. It is divine! Like seriously! I did two coats here, but you can just about get away with one thicker coat.

This polish was inspired by the Doors song, it is one of my favorite Doors songs and I had to make it a polish! You can listen to it here-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DX42_3ZKv8c

Anna Pavlova is a white holo with purple shimmer, flecks and UCC purple to teal to pink flakies! (If you remember the August polish Roberto, this is it's purple cousin!) I am absolutely head over heels for this one! I love everything about it! Great formula needing just two coats and the little sparkles from the flakies are gorgeous!

Anna is an incredibly famous ballet dance from the turn of the century, she is associated with some of the most famous names in ballet for balletomanes. Once cannot escape ballet today without the mention of her name! She is best known for Dying swan from Swan Lake, you can watch it here-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMEBFhVMZpU
We are fortunate enough to have some of her work surviving! Here is her own choreography-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPXaHHMP7yw
While an imperfect dancer, she was impassioned which make for the best dancers in my opinion. Here is a little Video bio of her -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lqwl8j3Vdw0
If you remember our May Polishes, she inspired Rukmini Devi to re-discover her Indian cultural roots and bring back Bharatanatyam, Indian temple dancing as well as teaching her some ballet!

When you purchase the December Duo, you will also get this super pretty sterling silver plated snowflake ring! It's really beautiful! (Also shown above in the Anna Pavlova swatch photo.

Love Love Love! I freaking love these! I really like them all, but the December Duo just speaks to me and makes me feel really festive. Haha! I also really adore that snowflake ring!.

By popular demand, Ashlie has decided to now sell these polishes, not only in their duos, but also individually! Keep in mind that the little extras, matte topcoat and ring, are only available when you purchase the duos!

Both the November and December Duos are available in Ashlie's shop now!
Thanks for reading!
