Love , Angeline - "Let's Grab a Drink" Fall 2015 Collection (swatches and review)

**press sample**

Hi guys! Today I have the awesomeness that is Love, Angeline's Fall 2015 Collection "Let's Grab a Drink"! Natosha really makes some amazing matte polishes and these may be my favorite matte collection thus far! Nine gorgeous matte polishes that are so super smooth and have vampy, deep fall tones that are amazing on their own, but also really come to life and are more vibrant with a glossy topcoat! I don't know how she made this wizardry, but I likey!

Love, Angeline
Lets jump right in!

(All polishes show absolutely no topcoat on the full mani photo and the first macro; the second macro shows the polish glossy using Simply Quick topcoat by Simple Nail Art Tips)

Bellini is a blackened purple matte with a strong flash of purple and blue sparks! For my photos I did two thin coats, but could almost get away with one thicker coat.

Cosmo is a dark cobalt blue with that same, almost blackened base and has beautiful blue sparks that pop out! Do you see that glossy?! gah! Again I did two thin coats, but one thicker coat would have been sufficient!

Manhattan is the most gorgeous deep teal, matte polish filled with aqua and blue sparks! My photos show two coats.

Margarita is a dark emerald green with a strong flash of green and aqua sparks! While this looks amazing matte, it really sparkles with a glossy topcoat! My photos show two coats!

Shandy is a gorgeous golden yellow with gold sparks that really give it some amazing depth! For this being a yellow polish, the formula was amazing! Just two thin coats was completely opaque!

Whiskey is a brown matte polish with a gray undertone! The multi colored sparks in this one really give this a soft look as they show up almost pastel aqua, pink and silvery (at least in my lighting...lol)

Bourbon is just....gorgeous! I mean, look at it! It is a rusty toned orange matte filled with golden and copper sparks! It looks like it has this fire within, doesn't it? Love it! This was two coats, but I almost got away with one thicker coat.

Red Wine is a deep red matte polish with an intense flash of red sparks! Another stunner for sure! This was also two coats, but was right on the edge of being a one coater for me!

Champagne is a magenta pink matte loaded with pink and purple sparks! Another two coat beauty!

I love, Love, LOVE this collection! They all have Love, Angeline's perfect matte formula, yet all look absolutely amazing with topcoat as well! I think my personal favorites are Bellini, Margarita and Bourbon! Which is your must have?

(Tip: When working with matte polishes, be sure to let your first coat dry completely before going in with your second coat. Mattes do tend to have thicker formulas, so a light hand is really helpful as well)

Natosha also sent me two of her new Love Notes Cuticle Oils to try out! I'm in love with these too! I chose to try her click pens and they are awesome! They are similar to the usual twist pens, but instead of twisting, you just click them...I'm a fan! I chose her to newer scents, which I had the hardest time trying to describe, so I had to asked Natosha what the key elements were...lol! Of course after she told me, I was like...oh yeah, yup that's it! haha!

I Put a Love Spell on You smells of mandarin orange, bergamot and tangerines, enhanced with a touch of peach, strawberry, raspberry with an undertone of white musk. Now I'm not so sure I am personally able to pick out each of those smells, but what I do smell is amazeballs!

Lime Cilantro Sweet Tea is a mix of Lime Cilantro and Sweet Zing Tea. The lime is what you smell first  and then the Cilantro lingers at the end. I have to admit I didn't think this would smell very good, but I was intrigued so I chose it. I was wrong....it smells so good!

Both oils smelled intoxicating and each were equally moisturizing! They soaked into my skin in normal "cuticle oil time" and didn't leave my skin feeling too greasy! I will definitely buy more, especially because I want to try more scents! These are available in her shop now!

  10. I think this collection is a little to dark for me in the matte stage but it seems to come alive and make me drool when top coat is added.
